Objetivo General

Evaluate the Late Winter Pruning as an effective agronomical technique that allows the re-coupling of sugar and anthocyanins concentration during red grapes maturation in Vitis vinifera cv. Syrah subjected to a temperature increase in the Maipo Valley of Chile.

Objetivos Específicos

  • Determine the effects of temperature increase and its interaction with Late Winter Pruning on red grapes color metabolism (Phenolic composition and Photosynthesis relationship) during the maturation development (Veraison to Harvest)
  • To determine the effects of Late Winter Pruning over the expression of anthocyanins regulatory genes in grapes of cv. Syrah subjected to temperature increase during the grown and maturation development (Flowering to Harvest).
  • To analyze the effects of Late Winter Pruning over technological and phenolic maturity (re-coupling) of red grapes in cv. Syrah subjected to this temperature increase at harvest time.
